The James Township Board of Trustees meets on the second Monday of each month.  Board meetings are held at the James Township Hall, 6060 Swan Creek Road at 7:30 PM. 

The James Township Planning Commission’s current schedule is for the first Monday of each month. This schedule is tentative and residents should contact the township hall for updates or changes to this schedule. Check the calendar at the bottom of the homepage for times and dates.

Special Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals Meetings:  The Planning Commission will schedule meetings for Special Use Permits and the Zoning Board of Appeals for Variances on an as needed basis. Meetings are posted at the township hall. Residents living within 300 feet of any proposed site will receive personal mailings for these meetings.
